Strong Stick insect Anchiale briareus

Sold as juveniles – Captive Bred

Juveniles can be quite colourful but sadly lose these colours once mature. Similar to many stick insect species the male can fly was mature but the female cannot, using her wings for a threat display instead. Strong Stick insects are generalists, found in a wide arrange habitats in the wild from rainforests to dry eucalyptus woodland and eating a wide range of plants.
