The smaller, northern cousin of the more famous Childrens Stick Insect Tropidoderus childrenii. They can be variable colours with some impressive pink, green and even orange insects recorded on Inaturalist.

Our Tropidoderus prasina originate from around Townsville, QLD.
Due to similarities with Tropidoderus species especially while immature, this species should not be kept with other Tropidoderus species. They can be easily mixed up and can be hard to separate apart.
