An arid species that thrives in the wild on small shrubs no taller than 40cm.

Foodplants Westringia fruticosa

Also known as the Lobed-abdomen stick insect, the two spines on the head give them the much better common name “ Dog-eared stick insect”.

We are still trialling foodplants with this species, they seldom move during the day and appear to eat little compared to other species.
